My clients were in the process of renovating their property and needed a planting plan for their new extensive borders. They wanted the planting around the house to be formal and pretty, with lots of winter interest. There was another large border in the walled garden which they wanted to be a lot less formal and very colourful with lots of height at the back against the Cotswold stone wall.
We finished planting it up in May 2019. It was very good timing as it was just before rainy June came! The planting seemed to anchor the house in to the ground making it look grander and more interesting. We planted lots of yew edging and evergreens that will make it look good throughout the year. The chosen plants will ensure that there is always colour and interest in the garden in all seasons, looking beautiful and romantic yet quite formal, neat and tidy.
